Pork should be washed, let the water drain, cut into layers and beat off. Each layer of meat should be of such a size that it is convenient to put it on a plate ready-made. Peel the potatoes and cut them into the same thin plates.

From mushrooms, if they are frozen, evaporate moisture in a frying pan. It is best to take fresh mushrooms, but always fragrant. Do not use champignons. They crunch well, but they give little mushroom flavor. Onion cut into half rings and lightly fry in vegetable oil.

Prepare the bechamel sauce.

Melt butter in a frying pan, add flour and, stirring with a spoon, fry it until it has a nutty taste and golden color. Pour in cream or milk at room temperature. Rub the formed lumps with a whisk right in the pan. Bring the sauce to a boil and, if necessary, dilute with cream to the desired consistency. The sauce should have the consistency of liquid sour cream.

Put meat plastics, onions, potatoes, mushrooms on a baking sheet with high sides, greased with oil and pour sauce or cream. There should be so much liquid that it almost covers the casserole. Don't forget to add salt and pepper to all the ingredients. Put in the oven, preheated to 200 ° C until the potatoes are almost ready. The cooking time depends on the thickness of the potato plates.

While the dish is being prepared, it is necessary to grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Remove the baking sheet, cover with cheese on top and put it back in the oven for 20-25 minutes until a toasted, crispy crust is obtained.
