Do you want to touch the culinary traditions of Lithuania? Then prepare a dish from the national food of this country. I offer a culinary recipe for stuffed cabbage in Lithuanian. Cut the cabbage into 4 parts and boil until half-cooked in salted water. Then squeeze the cooled head with your hands. We soak the pearl barley in yogurt for several hours, and then wash it before cooking. Boil pearl barley until soft and fry in lard. Porcini mushrooms are boiled in one and a half glasses of water. Cut the finished mushrooms into strips and fry with finely chopped onions. Do not pour out the mushroom broth. Mix the ready-made cereals and mushrooms with minced meat and beaten eggs. The resulting mass is spread out between the leaves of the head, tightly squeeze with your hands and transfer the stuffed head into a saucepan. Fill with salted mushroom broth, cover with a lid and simmer until tender. Before the end of extinguishing, add sour cream and boil again. We serve the stuffed head in Lithuanian on a platter with plenty of sour cream. Bon appetit!
