And cooking in a slow cooker significantly reduces the time spent by the hostess, allowing you to calmly deal with personal matters while the dish is being prepared independently.

To cook stewed chicken with vegetables in a slow cooker, you can take any part of the bird. If thighs or legs are used, they can be cooked on the bone, but be sure to remove the skin - it does not look very appetizing in stewed form and does not have a pleasant taste. The easiest way to cook this dish is from chicken breast. White meat after stewing turns out incredibly tender, literally crumbling into fibers.

The breast is separated from the bone, washed, dried with a paper towel and cut into small pieces.

Peel the onion. Carrots and peppers are washed, the latter is cleaned of seeds. We cut the onion into small cubes or thin half-rings, we also cut the pepper as desired, but not too finely, so that in the finished version of the dish it was visible and gave not only taste, but also aesthetic pleasure. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Mix the vegetables until the pieces are evenly distributed. We put the vegetables in the bowl of the slow cooker, forming a so-called pillow on which the chicken will be cooked. We evenly distribute the chopped chicken meat on top. In a separate cup, mix water and soy sauce, pour this mixture over chicken and vegetables.

Add a little salt to the dish, if necessary. Soy sauce itself is salty, so here you need to focus only on your taste. If there is a desire, add any seasonings, but the taste of chicken with vegetables is so saturated that it is not necessary. A small amount of aromatic herbs - dill, parsley, thyme or rosemary - will not be superfluous. You can add fresh or dried, or do without them.

Close the lid of the slow cooker and select the extinguishing mode. The process usually takes from 30 minutes to 1 hour. During this period, the chicken will be well extinguished, it will become tender and soft. Immediately after disconnecting, open the lid, if necessary, additionally divide the pieces of meat into fibers, mix with vegetables and serve to the table, garnished with fresh herbs. The dish can be offered as completely independent or supplemented with a side dish.
