Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Turn on the oven to warm up to 190 degrees. We prepare the baking dish (you can use an ordinary cast-iron frying pan). While the oven is heating up, we continue to cook so as not to waste time.

2. Wash the pumpkin, then dry it with paper kitchen towels. We cut off the lid of the pumpkin, clean out all the seeds. Pumpkin should make a deep bowl - pot for baking rice.

3. Melt the butter in a water bath or in a microwave oven (a mode for defrosting products is well suited so that the oil does not heat up too much). We wait for the oil to cool down a little, then mix it with salt and ground black pepper and rub the inside of the pumpkin and the lid on the back with this mixture.

4. Next, put the pumpkin upside down on the baking sheet, put the lid with a slice down. Put the baking sheet in the oven for 35 minutes. While the pumpkin is baking, we prepare the filling.

5. My Bulgarian pepper, after which we cut out the stalk, clean the pepper from the seeds. Wash the carrots, peel them. After the carrots and bell peppers are cut into small cubes. Peel the onion from the husk and also cut it into small cubes. Rinse the raisins thoroughly under running water, then soak it in a cup for 5 minutes, then drain the water.

6. We put the frying pan on medium heat, put the butter in it and wait for it to melt. After putting the onion in the pan, fry it in oil for 3-4 minutes. After adding carrots and bell peppers, cook everything together for another 3-4 minutes - until soft. Then spread the minced meat, fry for another 2-3 minutes. In the process, season everything with salt and spices.

7. We wash the rice, put it in a frying pan, mix well. We also pour water there, put raisins. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cook everything together for another 10 minutes.

8. Remove the pumpkin and the lid from the oven, turn the pumpkin over and place it in a baking dish (frying pan). Fill the pumpkin with stuffing, cover with a lid, wrap in foil. Bake the pumpkin in this form for 20-25 minutes.

We serve the finished pumpkin on the table hot!
