Salmon steak with bay leaf in a frying pan

Fast, tasty, healthy! The dish is suitable for any diets and is good for health. I often cook red fish in this way when there is no time to mess with a steamer. It turns out very juicy, tasty and healthy!

Cooking method

Salmon is a very oily fish, so I do not advise taking extra oil to cook it in a frying pan.

1. Peel the salmon steak from the scales.

2. Rub well with salt and ground black pepper, leave for 5-10 minutes.

3. Preheat a non-stick frying pan and put the steak on it, you can remove the bone and cut it in half - it depends on the size of the fish.

4. So that the fish does not burn and the smell of fish oil does not appear, I add a little water and cover it with a lid for 2-3 minutes, then turn the fish over and bring it to readiness.

5. The fish turns out to be very juicy and fragrant, along with the addition of water, it is good to put a bay leaf.

6. Serve the salmon with a vegetable side dish or a fresh salad.

Bon appetit!
