Now we are going to prepare a classic Italian tomato sauce for spaghetti. It differs from the usual sauce, to which we have all been accustomed for a long time, in that it is made from canned tomatoes. But exactly the kind that are twisted in their own juice – in tomato.

First, finely chop the onion. Then pour olive oil into the pan and fry the onion in it. Add the garlic and mix. The onion should become soft.

We take out the tomatoes, you can peel them if you want. After kneading them and adding them to the onion. Here we pour out all the tomato juice from the jar.

When the mass is warmed up, put all the seasonings and mix. Salt, bring to a boil.

As soon as it boils, immediately reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid. We leave it to languish for ten minutes or a little more.

During this time, the tomato sauce will become thicker.
