Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary products. You can take any juice: freshly squeezed or packaged, but it should be sweet juice. But apples will suit the opposite of sour varieties. Such as Granny Smith, the Hero. I have perfectly preserved last year's Antonovka - it is ideal for apple pies. Wheat flour is of the highest grade, but if you like more healthy pastries, then replace it with whole-grain flour. Any vegetable oil: from rapeseed to sunflower

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Combine all the loose ingredients. I strongly recommend sifting flour. It is thanks to this process that baking turns out to be lighter and airy. I have only cinnamon and vanilla from spices. If you like aromatic and spicy dishes, you can add other flavors. For baking with apples, ground cloves, ginger, nutmeg are perfect.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Combine juice with butter, add dry ingredients.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Mix well. The dough turns out to be quite liquid.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Wash the apples, remove the seed pod and cut into thin slices. Apples can be peeled, or they can be used together with the peel.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Add the apples to the dough, mix and leave for 10 minutes so that the apples absorb part of the dough.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Grease a heat-resistant pie baking dish with vegetable oil. Pour out the dough and bake in a preheated 190 degree oven for about 30 minutes. To prevent the apples from burning, you can cover the pie with foil on top.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

While the cake is baking, combine the butter and sugar for a caramel crust and stir until the sugar dissolves.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Pour the resulting syrup on the hot pie and send it back to the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden dough and crisp.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Before serving, I advise you to cool the pie. Although it is delicious both hot and cold. Bon appetit!

On the days of fasting, I also want to treat myself to a sweet, and this pie is a great solution.
For a more interesting and unusual taste, you can add a handful of frozen lingonberries to the apples, and chopped nuts to the syrup for a crispy crust.
Bon appetit!
