Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake potatoes in the oven without meat? Prepare the ingredients for the dish according to the list. There are not many of them, and they will always be found at home. If desired, the composition of spices can be changed by selecting them according to taste and availability. You can also take any greens to your taste, I have frozen.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the potatoes. The dish will turn out especially tasty if you use new potatoes for its preparation and bake it in the peel. But if the potatoes are old, then it is better to peel them. Cut the washed potatoes into slices that resemble orange slices in their appearance. Rinse them from starch, it is more convenient to do this by putting the potatoes in a colander. Then let the water drain.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour water into a saucepan or other metal dish, put it on the fire. When the water boils, lower the potato slices into boiling water. Cook them over medium heat for about 3 minutes from the moment of boiling. Then drain the water, throwing the potatoes back into a colander and let the water drain completely. This pre-boiling will make the potatoes softer and shorten the cooking time.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Put the potatoes in a deep bowl. Add salt, ground black pepper, sweet paprika, garlic passed through the press and finely chopped fresh parsley and dill. Pre-wash and dry the greens. Frozen, like mine, you can put it just like that. If desired and to taste, you can add any more spices or seasoning for potatoes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour in the olive oil. Mix the potatoes thoroughly, you can do it with your hands so that all the slices are covered with marinade. Leave the potatoes in it for 20 minutes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cover the baking dish or baking sheet with parchment. Place the pickled potatoes on the parchment, leaving a space between the pieces. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the potatoes for about 30 minutes. It should be slightly browned. Determine readiness with a sharp knife — it should easily pierce the slice.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Take out the potatoes, let them cool down a little and serve them to the table as an independent dish or as a side dish. If desired, fresh vegetables and sauces can be served with potatoes: sour cream, garlic, cheese or mustard. Enjoy your meal!

Root vegetables are best washed with a brush or a hard sponge under running water.

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
