Oven-baked shrimp

The shrimp may be smaller, but the baking time will be shorter. Such delicious shrimps are a suitable snack for beer. I used Argentine shrimp instead of the usual royal ones. And another important aspect: Argentine prawns are more delicious than royal ones.

    Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Grate the zest on a coarse grater.

    In a deep bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic and herbs of Provence. Beat everything until smooth, until the butter is combined with lemon juice.

    Put the shrimp in a bowl. Mix everything thoroughly. Put it to marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours, preferably overnight. During pickling, stir the shrimp several times so that they are evenly soaked with marinade.

    Line the baking sheet with a double layer of parchment. Put the shrimp together with the marinade in one layer. Bake the shrimp for about 10-12 minutes at 200 ° C. If the shrimps are ordinary royal, then 8-9 minutes is enough

If there is an opportunity to buy Argentine shrimp, I strongly advise you to try them. Of course, they are more expensive (the average price is about 900 rubles per 1 kg. But they are sold without a head and there is much more meat in them. Therefore, in order to eat enough 3-4 pieces against 2-15 pieces of smaller king prawns, in which we overpay a lot for the heads that we remove. Therefore, the final price per serving will be approximately the same.
Shrimps, like other seafood, are rich in easily digestible protein. Its digestion occurs very quickly, which contributes to the absorption into the blood of a sufficient number of components of the product. One hundred-gram portion of crustaceans provides 47% of the daily protein allowance. At the same time, they are low in fats and carbohydrates, a lot of valuable vitamins, micro- and macroelements.
