Healthy and delicious snack - surprise your family and friends. Last year I came across a pack of apple chips in the store. I liked them so much that I buy them periodically. However, recently the price for them has unreasonably increased and I decided that it would be much cheaper to cook such chips yourself at home. And indeed: it turned out to be a piece of cake. However, I dried them a little longer. It turned out even tastier than store-bought ones, because I added cinnamon and vanilla sugar to them. You can add your favorite spices.

    Prepare the ingredients. To make apple chips, we will need: apples, ground cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

    Wash and dry the apples. Cut into thin slices. Rinse the apple slices in cold water and dry with paper towels.

    Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Arrange the slices of apples on it so that they do not layer on top of each other or come into contact with each other at a minimum. Otherwise, those parts that lie on top of each other will dry badly.

    Sprinkle the apples evenly with vanilla sugar and cinnamon.

    Turn the oven on at minimum temperature. I have it about 50-60 degrees. Dry apples for 1.5-2 hours. The oven door should be ajar so that the steam comes out unhindered. The finished apples should have slightly wavy edges and a dry middle. At the same time, the chips will not be crispy yet, as there will still be a little moisture left in them. It is ok.

    Remove the chips from the oven and cool at room temperature. They will become crispy. Store the chips in a dark place in a hermetically sealed container, wrapped in parchment. Enjoy your meal!

Fruit chips are a great snack that will not only not affect the figure in any way, but will also quickly satisfy hunger. Cooking apple chips in the oven is simple. In terms of time, the whole process will take no more than 1.5 hours. At the exit you will get delicious and healthy snacks, without flavorings and other harmful additives. First you need to choose the right kind of apples. It is better to use hard fruits, with sourness. In this case, the chips will not come out sugary, with a crispy crust.
Some add 1 tbsp lemon juice to chopped apples. So the apples will not darken and will acquire a soft sourness that will not disappear after drying.
