Incredibly gentle and soft, from ordinary products! Wet chocolate cake is a recipe for a very easy—to-prepare cake with wet crumb. It is prepared from simple and affordable products, without chocolate. The wet effect is achieved by impregnating a hot cake with cocoa sauce.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a wet chocolate cake? Prepare the products. I measured the ingredients for this recipe with a 250 ml glass. Take milk of any fat content. Take natural cocoa, a drink like Nesquik will not work. The oil is refined, odorless. Put vanillin to taste, you can take vanilla sugar instead, then you will need 1 teaspoon of it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Take a large dough bowl. Pour cocoa and sugar into it. Stir them with a whisk.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour in the milk in a thin trickle and with constant stirring. Stir it with cocoa and sugar until completely dissolved.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour about a third of the resulting mixture into a separate bowl. Put it aside for now, the sauce will be needed at the very end.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Beat in the remaining most of the egg, add salt and vanilla. Salt works in sweet recipes as a flavor enhancer. Mix the products with a whisk so that the eggs are completely combined with the milk mixture.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. This will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate the flour with oxygen, which will make the pie more lush and airy. You may take more or less flour than I do. Be guided by the consistency of the dough.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Pour in the vegetable oil. Mix the dough until it is completely homogeneous. A whisk will be enough, it is not necessary to use a mixer in this recipe.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Prepare a pie baking dish. This volume of dough is enough for a small shape, I have a diameter of 20 cm, the pie turned out to be quite low. I covered the bottom with parchment and smeared it and the walls of the mold with vegetable oil. Pour the cake batter into the mold.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the pie for about 30 minutes. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking according to your oven.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Then take out the pie and pour the remaining sauce of milk, sugar and cocoa directly hot. My pie has risen very much in the middle, so the sauce has flowed to the sides. It's not scary, with the help of a spoon I poured them all over the middle.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

To make the pie better soaked, you can pierce it with a wooden stick over the entire surface.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Leave the cake to soak for an hour, and then release it from the mold and serve it to the table.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

When serving, you can decorate the pie with berries. Enjoy your meal!

Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.

Is it possible to replace baking powder with soda, how to add them correctly so that the baking is lush, how to avoid an unpleasant soda taste and much more, read the article "Baking powder or baking soda - which is better?"

Any heat-resistant form is suitable for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, then you do not need to smear it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly lubricate metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baking does not burn.
