Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 9H
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake pork ribs in the oven in foil? Prepare the products according to the list. Take mustard according to your taste, spicy or not. Table vinegar, 9%. Be careful with salt, there is a lot of it in soy sauce. Take good, filtered or bottled water for the marinade.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Prepare the marinade. Transfer the tomato paste to a bowl, pour in the water and stir well. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring the liquid with a whisk all the time. If your honey is not liquid, it is better to melt it beforehand. If desired, you can add chopped garlic to the marinade.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash pork ribs with cold running water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Cut into separate pieces, making incisions between the bones. If the bone is badly cut at the junction, then cut it with a kitchen hatchet. You can cut, like me, one rib at a time, or you can make large pieces, two or three ribs each.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Transfer the cut ribs to the marinade, trying to keep all the meat in it. Close the dishes with the ribs with a lid or cling film and put them in the refrigerator to marinate. The longer the ribs stand in the marinade, the tastier they will turn out. I didn't get much marinade, I had to turn the pieces over from time to time. I pickled the ribs for 8 hours.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Cover the dishes in which the ribs will be baked with aluminum foil. You can simply lubricate the bottom with vegetable oil and immediately spread the meat, but with foil it will be much more convenient and cleaner. Lay out the ribs in one layer.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cover the mold with foil on top, wrapping it well around the edges.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Bake pork ribs in the oven for about 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 210 degrees. Focus on your oven! Then remove the foil and put it on for another 15-30 minutes so that the ribs are browned. I turned on the convection mode at this stage. Bon appetit!

The ribs turned out to be very soft, juicy, with a bright honey note.
It will be delicious to serve them with some sauce - adjika, barbecue, or just tomato.
It is better to serve them hot.

You can replace the marinade with any other suitable for pork meat. In principle, any marinade for kebabs will fit here.

When preparing a foil-baked dish (meat or poultry), take into account the features of your oven and be guided by the cooking time according to it, and not by what is written in the recipe. If you are preparing a dish for the first time, follow a few useful tips:
- divide the total cooking time by 4
- open the oven every quarter of the total time and check the degree of readiness of the dish
- don't be afraid to unwrap the foil for a more accurate check
- to make it more convenient to unfold the foil, always leave a "seam" on top of it
- if you wish, you can determine the degree of readiness without unfolding the foil by making one or two punctures in it with a toothpick
Remember that the quality of the foil also matters.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
