My hobby is to collect baking recipes from various countries. This recipe of Argentine cuisine reminded me of the recipe for a cake, but it is a little different set of fruits.
melt 100 gr. butter with milk, add 100 gr. sugar, when the mixture cools down a little, add yeast and flour. Knead the dough, cover with cling film and leave for forty minutes in a warm place. Grind the remaining butter and sugar, add eggs, honey, vermouth, vanilla, lemon zest, a pinch of salt. Combine the dough that has come up with a honey-butter mixture, nuts and fruits (coarsely chopped and rolled in a small amount of flour) again cover with a film and let it stand for a little longer. Put high round shapes with cooking paper (you can use special paper molds), lubricate with oil and fill 2/3 with dough. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 C *. Check the readiness of the bread with a long wooden stick (I use a finely honed Chinese chopstick for this). Baked and slightly cooled fruit bread cut into portions.
