Juicy trout in the oven steaks in foil

An extraordinarily delicious dinner with a minimum of ingredients. Such juicy trout steaks with aromatic sauce can be cooked in less than an hour. This is especially convenient when you don't have the strength to stand at the stove in the evening, but you want to feed your family with something delicious and interesting. You can serve such steaks with any side dish, as well as with a salad of fresh vegetables and herbs. I saved some sauce and poured it over the fish again before serving.

Trout can be cooked in a variety of ways, with different side dishes and additional ingredients. However, the most gentle way of cooking, in which the fish retains the greatest amount of nutrients, is baking in the oven.

Since trout is a rather fatty fish, I prefer to bake it in foil, parchment or in special baking bags. This prevents excessive evaporation of moisture from the surface of the fish and will allow it to retain juiciness. Another huge plus is that after that you do not need to wash the dishes in which the fish was baked from fat.

There is nothing superfluous in this recipe: fish, spices and lemon juice. The highlight is the sauce itself, which gives the fish a piquant sweet and sour taste. If desired, you can leave a little sauce and pour it over the ready-made fish when serving.

Trout steaks can be cut the way I have - across the ridge, or you can cut a piece along the ridge into two parts. Remove the spine and adjacent bones. Otherwise, do as it is written in the recipe.
