Cooking method

Cooking time: 3 h 10 min

To start, prepare the dough:

- pour the milk into a bowl (if the milk is cold, warm it up to a warm state), pour yeast, some sugar (10 g) and a little flour (40 g), mix and leave in a warm place until a reaction appears;

- soften the butter in the microwave, break the egg, pour the remaining sugar and salt;

- mix the resulting mass with a whisk, combine it with yeast dough and sift the remaining flour. Knead the dough, it should turn out very soft and elastic;

- leave the dough warm so that it fits - it will take from 1 to 2 hours, it all depends on the temperature.

And now that the dough is ready, you can do the pie:

- we separate most of the dough, spread it on a baking sheet lined with parchment, and roll it right on the baking sheet into a rectangular layer;

- spread the lingonberries on the base, leave a place around the edges of about 2 cm, sprinkle the berries with sugar;

- from the remaining piece of dough, we form beautiful sides (here you can turn on fantasy: pigtails, twigs - yes, anything!);

- put the egg yolk in a small bowl, pour the milk, whisk with a fork;

- lubricate the sides of the pie with the resulting mixture (you can come up with a cake decoration from the remains of the dough);

- bake the pie at 180 degrees for half an hour;

- take the baking sheet out of the oven and sprinkle the berries with starch to thicken the filling.

Cut the cooled pie into pieces and serve it on the table.

Have a sweet tea party!
