Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a cake on honey dough with apples and caramel? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can choose any apples, but strong, juicy fruits, sweet or sweet and sour are most suitable. Wash and wipe the apples well.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

How to make caramel for pies? We will have it first on the bottom, which will then become the top. Take a suitable baking dish. I have it like this. Brush it with butter.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

And sprinkle with sugar. Actually, this will be our caramel, which in the finished cake will become its tip.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

I don't peel apples, but you can do it. Cut the apples into plates, removing the cores. Try to cut smooth and beautiful slices. The better they are, the more beautiful the pie will turn out.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Now place the apples nicely in a circle of the mold on top of the sugar.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Sprinkle the apples with ground cinnamon on top.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

In a separate bowl, whisk 180 g of sugar and 3 eggs.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Beat the egg mixture to a strong foam.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Add a little honey - it will give a beautiful color and flavor to our cake. If the honey is too thick, you can heat it up slightly.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Without stopping whipping, gradually pour flour into the egg mass. Make sure that the flour is not sprayed around. You can pour it with a spoon with the mixer turned off, immerse it in the mass, and only then beat it.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

At the very end, add the soda and mix well with a mixer.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

The dough turns out like thick sour cream, focus on this. That is, you may take more or less flour than I do.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Pour the dough into a baking dish, it should reach somewhere to the middle of the mold. I didn't take this into account and it turned out too high, so subsequently my dough ran a little "out of shape". But since the pie is a shifter, this time it's not scary))) Put it in a cold oven at 160 degrees for 35-45 minutes, but after 20 minutes check the readiness of the pie - everyone has different ovens.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

My pie is ready in 45 minutes! Let the cake cool down a little.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Now turn it over the pie on a plate and carefully remove the mold. If you baked it in a silicone mold, like mine, then it's quite easy to do it!

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

Ta-dam! It turned out such a beauty! Due to the fact that we sprinkled sugar on the mold, the top turned out to be caramel.

  17. Step 17:

    Step 17.

    Have a nice tea party!

  18. Step 18:

    Step 18.

In the section you can see what kind of cake turned out to be a beautiful caramel color thanks to honey, and it smells like real caramel! Try it and you!

Today I baked a familiar biscuit for my kids, but with some changes, thanks to which it became even tastier! This design of the pie is also new to me, but it turned out very nice )))

Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
