Stuffed zucchini

Very tasty and fragrant! An appetizing dish for a family dinner! Stuffed zucchini is delicious, fragrant, satisfying and tempting. All the ingredients are in place, everything is harmonious. It is necessary to serve the dish with fervor from the heat, but a big plus is that the stuffed zucchini can be cooled, then tightly wrapped in cling film and frozen. Thus, in the future it will be possible to quickly prepare a delicious dinner - it will only be necessary to defrost and reheat zucchini with stuffing.

Cooking this simple and beautiful dish is not difficult. To begin with, prepare the ingredients:

- peel the onion, rinse it under cold water, dry it with a paper towel, then finely chop;

- my Bulgarian pepper, cut out the stalk, clean the seeds, then also finely cut it like onions. We also do with chili pepper, using gloves so as not to get burned;

- break the egg into a bowl and whisk with a fork;

- wash, dry and coarsely chop tomatoes;

- zucchini is washed, dried and cut into halves lengthwise, cut out with a knife or remove the seeds with a spoon;

- three cheese on a grater, put it in a separate cup and put it aside for now.

Now we go directly to cooking:

1. Put the minced meat in a large bowl, then add chopped onion, bell pepper and chili pepper, soft bread crumbs to it. Pour the shaken egg into the same place. Mix everything well.

2. In the same bowl, pour spices and herbs: dried parsley, dried basil, Italian herbs, salt, ground black pepper. Stir everything well again, then add the tomato sauce (200 g) and mix again.

3. Spread the chopped tomatoes to the rest of the ingredients, mix everything again.

4. We fill the zucchini halves with the resulting minced meat and put them in a baking dish of a suitable size, greased with vegetable oil. Spread the remaining tomato sauce on top of the zucchini, pour water into the mold.

5. We put the form with zucchini in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for 45 minutes. Zucchini should become soft during this time.

6. Sprinkle the zucchini with grated cheese and keep it in the oven for another minute, then remove the mold from the oven, put the zucchini in serving plates and serve hot.
