Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 20 min

In a large container, combine sour cream, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and powdered sugar. Mix the mixture of ingredients until a homogeneous consistency.

Sift the flour together with baking powder into a separate container, mix, then add them to the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough with your hands. It should be soft, smooth and obedient. Now wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Time has passed - we remove the dough from the refrigerator, unfold it and spread it on the work surface. It can be lubricated with a small amount of vegetable oil or sprinkled with flour so that the dough does not stick. Roll out the dough into a layer 3-4 mm thick. You can cook not one large roll, but three small ones. In this case, the dough and the filling are divided into three parts.

So, we spread a thin layer of chocolate over the surface of the layer, lay out pieces of halva. We roll up the layer into a roll and put it on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. When it warms up, we put the roll to bake for 35-40 minutes - until golden brown. It may take a little more or a little less time. If small rolls are baked, the time is reduced by 10 minutes.

Let the finished roll cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve to the table. It is necessary to cut the roll after complete cooling, otherwise the pieces will not turn out even.

Have a nice tea party!
