Focaccia with physalis and thyme

Delicious flatbreads made of unleavened dough. Don't pass by! I bring to your attention a recipe that was born in the vastness of Italy and is now, by right, considered one of the most ancient. We are talking about a thin and elegant flatbread called focaccia. I really like this kind of baking and I am happy to use the heritage of Italian chefs. I advise you to bake it for all pizza fans - you will be pleasantly surprised!

Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and yeast. Then make a small depression in the middle, pour in water and olive oil. Knead the dough for 10 minutes and, covered with a towel, leave it to rise for about an hour.

When the dough is ready, spread it on a baking sheet, having previously lined it with parchment. Put the physalis berries on top, lightly pressing them into the dough, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 220 ° C.

Can be served as an independent dish, supplemented with a portion of salad.

Eat with pleasure!
