Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake mannikin on kefir? It's very easy to make this delicate pie. Prepare the necessary products. The glasses can be of any capacity, the main thing is that they are the same, you can measure the products with one cup. Kefir should be taken out of the refrigerator in advance. It should be at room temperature.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Add baking powder to flour, mix it with flour. Then the mixture of flour and baking powder must be sifted in any way convenient for you. The simplest thing is to sift through a sieve, but you can use kitchen assistants.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

In kefir, heated to room temperature, add granulated sugar, semolina. You can optionally add vanilla or cinnamon. I added vanilla. Mix thoroughly, add vegetable oil, mix gently again.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add flour to the dough.Stir to get a homogeneous mass without lumps. I didn't use a mixer. This dough is perfectly kneaded by hand, with a whisk or spoon, as you like. The mass should be thick.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

When we have a smooth homogeneous mass, leave the dough for 20 minutes to "rest". Gluten in flour should start working and semolina should swell.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

While the dough is "resting" and gaining strength, prepare the cake pan. I have an ordinary glass saucepan. The diameter at the bottom is 18 centimeters, at the top is 22 centimeters. Make a so-called "French shirt". Grease the mold thoroughly with oil and sprinkle with flour.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Twenty minutes have passed and we carefully put our dough into a baking dish. I have a glass mold, so I put it in a cold oven. If you have a metal or silicone mold, then you need to preheat the oven to 180 degrees and only then send the pie to bake. The pie is baked for about 30 minutes. Focus on your oven. Check the readiness of the pie with a match, a wooden skewer or a toothpick.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

This is such a lush fragrant beauty turns out!

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

The pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, pour chocolate, everything depends on your imagination and taste preferences.

This is a very simple, budget pie, prepared "for one or two", and it turns out airy, fragrant, tender.

The recipe is basic, if desired, the pie can be cut in half and soaked with sour cream or jam.

You can also add fresh seasonal or frozen berries to it. If you take frozen berries, then they need to be rolled in starch, then injected into the dough.

Cook with pleasure!

Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
