Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
Cooking casseroles begin with the preparation of the filling. To do this, fry the onion cut into small cubes in vegetable oil until a transparent golden color, then add carrots worn on a medium or large grater to it. When the latter is a little wilted, add finely chopped cabbage. It is fried until golden brown, so that it is soft. Pepper, salt. Mixed and removed. Separately prepare the minced meat (you can cut the meat into small cubes), and fry it until it is completely darkened, but so that not all the juice evaporates. Pepper and salt to taste. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.
Now we start laying out the casserole. We take a form (I have 23 cm, square, 5 cm deep), put a layer of lavash on the bottom, then a layer of cabbage, a layer of minced meat, a layer of lavash, which we sprinkle with grated cheese, then again a layer of cabbage, minced meat and lavash. And again cheese, cabbage, minced meat. My form allows me to lay out 3 layers of lavash and 2 layers of minced meat. The main thing is that when baking, the juice released from the meat does not pour out of the mold. The top layer should be pita bread. We pour it on top with well-mixed sour cream with eggs. We send the casserole for 40 minutes at 180 degrees in a preheated oven. Then we pull it out, sprinkle with grated cheese and put it in the oven for another 10 minutes. The casserole is ready! Serve with pickles or other vegetables.
