Baked chushki (baked peppers)

Baked peppers, which can act as a separate snack! All lovers of Bulgarian pepper dishes should pay attention to these "Baked pigs" (they are also "Baked peppers")! This is a very tasty and versatile dish. Baked pigs are eaten both as a main dish and as an appetizer, and are added to salads. They can also become the basis for canning. This recipe haunted me. My work colleague, who happily married a smiling Bulgarian and went to Bulgaria with him, often started talking about this dish. About how fragrant the baked pigs (baked Bulgarian pepper) are and how she likes to eat them. The pigs turned out to be peppers, and the delicacy was a vegetable snack, like lecho. I love lecho, my homemade ones too, so we had to taste the dish.

1. Wash the peppers, dry them, without cleaning, completely.
2. Lubricate each pepper with sunflower oil and put it on the grill.
3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees in advance.
4. If there is a grill, then turn on the grill mode. Place the peppers spread out on the grill in the oven, put a baking sheet under it and leave for 15-25 minutes until the peppers are singed.
5. Don't forget to turn them over to bake evenly!
6. Put the finished peppers in a cellophane bag and close it.
7. Prepare the sauce: mix oil, vinegar, salt, red pepper, garlic and herbs.
(in the example in the photo I did without greens, but with greens it will only taste better!)
8. Unwrap the cooled peppers, peel, cut off the legs and remove the seeds. Cut into thin strips and mix with the sauce.
9. Bon appetit!
