When the Christmas Fast comes, during which eating fish is allowed, I like to cook pangasius, this is a welcome food in our house. But in the post I cook it without dairy additives – in an onion-mushroom coat. And on any of the holidays or just for lunch, I cook this interesting fish according to another culinary recipe. It's about pangasius under an onion-champignon fur coat.

We will wash the fish fillet, dry it with a napkin and, after salting and peppering, put it in a plate. Pour lemon juice, or just sprinkle it, and let it brew a little – 15 minutes is enough.

After washing and drying the champignons, cut them into flat slices and fry a little in olive oil with onions.

Make the sauce. Mix the cream with mayonnaise and tomato sauce, add finely chopped garlic and herbs here, mixing everything well.

Put half of the mushrooms and onions in a mold, put the fillet on top and cover it with another part of the onion and mushrooms. Pour the sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese and pour the remaining sauce.
Put the dish in the oven, preheated to 180 gr., and cook for 20-25 minutes. Take care not to burn the top. The yummy is extraordinary! Arrange in portions and garnish with tomatoes, herbs and whatever you like.
