Surely each of us has tried baked apples in the oven in his life. This recipe has been familiar to me since childhood. I tried to add cottage cheese to the apples, it turned out very tasty and healthy, especially for kids, starting from the age of one and a half. Baked apples with cottage cheese – weekend food! First, I rubbed the cottage cheese through a sieve, added a pinch of cinnamon to it. I ground the egg yolk with granulated sugar and vanilla. Put together all the components of the filling, mixing them well. Then she cut off the "caps" from the apples and took the cores out of them with a spoon. The result was "apple cups", which I slightly pricked with a fork so that they would not crack from the high temperature. At the next stage, I stuffed the apples with cottage cheese mixture, covered them with "lids" and put them in a baking dish, previously covered with oiled baking paper. Baked apples in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20 minutes. Then she removed the "caps" from the apples and baked for another 10 minutes until the cottage cheese browned. If you like crispy apples, then the baking time should be shortened. Baked apples with cottage cheese are a very tasty low–calorie dessert!
