Delicious homemade dumplings! Both adults and children love it! Everyone in our family loves dumplings. My husband-with cabbage, my son-with cottage cheese and cherries, I-with potatoes. Since the cooking process is laborious, I usually cook dumplings on a day off. With the advent of the slow cooker, I began to steam them. The use of custard dough greatly facilitates the modeling process. The custard dough turns out to be very soft, plastic, durable; does not stick to the table and hands; allows you to roll out the juicy very thinly and does not tear.

Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook after surfacing for five to six minutes, stirring occasionally. Only the dough for such dumplings should be rolled out thicker.
