In my family, this cake is called the Royal Banana. The delicate combination of a sponge cake with a banana will leave few people indifferent. And the set of products is quite simple.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the products. The cake is made on the basis of a sponge cake - if you have your own classic recipe - you can use it. I suggest this option

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Mix eggs with sugar. Add salt. This is necessary in order for the eggs to rise well

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Whisk until smooth. It should lighten and increase in volume

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Gradually fill in the flour. Stir with a spoon, lifting from the bottom. When whipping with a mixer, the sponge cake may settle.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

I cook in a slow cooker - I really like how the cake rises there. I lubricate the mold with oil. I bake on the program "Baking" 50 minutes. In the oven - 25-35 minutes temp. 180 degrees.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We get the cake. Let it cool down

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Next, cut out the middle as in the photo - only the bottom and walls remain. Thickness 1-2 cm. I cut it in a circle - then into 4 parts and carefully took it out. Biscuit pieces can break -= it's not scary

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Go to the filling. Cut the bananas into circles - put them on the bottom of our barrel

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Whisk sour cream with sugar

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

We cut the biscuit into pieces not very finely - so as not to turn into porridge

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Cut the banana into cubes. Mix the sour cream, sponge cake and bananas carefully

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

We put them in our barrel. If there is time, let it soak for a couple of hours.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Melt the chocolate and pour it on top. We serve it to the table.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

    Bon appetit!
