Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

We put cottage cheese in a bowl, break an egg into it, pour sugar and salt. Sprinkle all the ingredients with soda so that it does not fall into lumps anywhere and stir the mixture with a fork until smooth. Sift the flour into the resulting mass.

Knead the dough - it should turn out elastic, not too dense, but not liquid, so that it can be molded into balls. The amount of flour is regulated independently, since cottage cheese can be of different fat content and, accordingly, density.

From the resulting dough, we form small balls and spread them on the board, having previously sprinkled it with flour.

Cooking a deep fryer. To do this, pour vegetable oil into a saucepan with a high side and a small diameter. Heat the oil on fire until small bubbles form. With the help of two dry forks, we lower the curd balls into it in small batches, fry until golden brown on all sides.

The dish is lined with a paper towel to absorb excess fat. We spread the finished balls on the towel with a slotted spoon or the same two forks.

Sprinkle the balls with powdered sugar and serve on the table!

Have a nice tea party!
