Mayonnaise dough pies with mushrooms, cabbage and onions

Prepare fluffy and crispy rosy pies! Please yourself and your loved ones! I love this kind of dough, because it's easy and quick to cook. Thanks to mayonnaise, the pies are especially soft and airy, because of vodka they are crispy and ruddy, and you only need to approach the dough once. And you don't need to cook sourdough, which is also a plus for me. Try it!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 35 min

1. Pour the serum into a deep and wide bowl - warm, but not hot (temperature no more than 40 degrees).
2. Put crumbled yeast, sugar, salt, and mayonnaise in the whey.
3. Pour vodka into a bowl, mix everything.
4. Sift the flour, gradually add it to the bowl, mixing with the rest of the dough.
5. Add vegetable oil, continue to knead the dough. As a result, it should turn out to be very soft, very elastic and stop sticking to your hands and bowl.
6. Form a ball from the dough, put it on the bottom of the bowl, cover it with a clean towel, put it in a warm place to approach.

While the dough is coming, you can do the filling:

7. Chop the cabbage.
8. Cut the mushrooms into small cubes.
9. Finely chop the onion.
10. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, put the onion in it, fry it for a few minutes.
11. Add the cabbage to the onion and mix. Cover the pan with a lid, simmer the cabbage until half cooked, stirring occasionally.
12. Add the mushrooms to the pan, mix everything, add salt and pepper. Stir again, cover the pan again with a lid and bring the filling to readiness.

While the filling was being prepared, the dough came up. Now let's go directly to the pies:

13. Pour vegetable oil (3 tablespoons) on a cutting board.
14. Pinch off the third part of the dough. Now pinch off small pieces from this piece, dip them on both sides in vegetable oil. Mash each such small piece into a flatbread.
15. Put the filling on the tortillas, pinch the edges, forming pies. Spread the formed pies on a flat surface covered with baking paper.
16. Do the same with the remaining dough.
17. Melt the fat in a frying pan (or heat the vegetable oil), put the pies in it, fry on both sides until golden brown and golden brown.
18. Put the finished pies on a paper towel so that excess oil is absorbed into it.

Pies are ready - it's time to taste them :)

Bon appetit!
