I cut into quarters in order to use mushrooms in a creamy pasta sauce. In addition, mushrooms can be chopped into large and medium cubes, as well as plates - thin or thick. In any case, it's not worth getting too small, since mushrooms give a strong shrinkage during any heat treatment.

I keep mushrooms in the freezer on the same shelf with frozen vegetables, berries and fruits.
