How to make slices from zucchini?

A light and delicious snack of zucchini is great as a fresh summer salad of vegetables with herbs. It will be best combined with dishes of potatoes, fish or meat cooked on the grill. You can use zucchini of different colors - so the finished version of the dish will turn out not only delicious, but also beautiful.

Wash the zucchini, dry it with a towel, do not peel the skin. It is not too tough to cause discomfort during meals, but it will allow the zucchini to keep its shape and bright appearance. In addition, it is also useful.

Cut the zucchini into thin slices. The top layer, where the entire side surface is occupied by the skin, it is advisable not to use. It is best to cut zucchini with a vegetable peeler. So you can get long strips of the same thickness, which will be beautifully served in a ready-made dish.

Sprinkle the sliced slices with salt and leave for half an hour for salting. After this time, rinse and dry the squash slices with paper towels. In a deep bowl, mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice, a whole clove of garlic and olive oil. If desired, the oil can be replaced with any other odorless vegetable oil.

Add salt and pepper, mix well and add slices of zucchini. Close the container with a lid and send it to the refrigerator for 4-6 hours for marinating. After the end of the process, remove the container from the refrigerator, remove the garlic, add finely chopped herbs. If desired, you can add any spices or salt.

Serve slices of zucchini to the table, putting them on a plate in beautiful waves. It is better to suppress zucchini according to this recipe immediately after cooking, but if desired, you can store them for up to two days. This will not affect the taste, but after a while the slices may lose elasticity and darken a little.
