To create a blank for the winter, you need to take solid dense apricots. Rinse well, let dry and get the seeds out of the fruit. The jars should be sterilized and put the prepared apricot slices in them, sprinkling each of the layers with granulated sugar. To make the fruits fit more tightly, the container needs to be shaken well. After that, the jars are covered with lids and remain in a cool place overnight.

The next day, the apricots will release juice, and there will be fewer of them. You can report a few more slices to the top of the jar, then add citric acid.

Prepare a pot of water and put a towel in it so that the jars do not touch the bottom of the pan. When the water boils, the apricots need to be sterilized for 10 minutes. Then twist the jars well and wrap them in a warm blanket until completely cooled. Apricots in their own juice are the best treat in the winter season.
