Chopped onion with cloves for winter

Excellent appetizer from a simple onion! Stock up for the winter! Our family loves onions. Even children, and especially pickled. I serve it with various dishes: meat and fish, vegetable stews, salads. It can also be used as a snack.

At the initial stage of harvesting delicious onions for the winter, you need to make a marinade. We will prepare it like this:

1. Pour water into a suitable-sized saucepan.

2. Add salt and sugar, peppercorns, bay leaves, cloves to the pan.

3. Pour in vegetable oil and vinegar 9%.

4. Put the pan on medium heat and bring to a boil, then cook the marinade for another 1-2 minutes.

While the marinade is being prepared, let's do the onions. Cut it into rings or half rings depending on the size of the bulbs.

Put the chopped onion in the marinade boiling on the stove and turn off the heat. Let him stand like this for a minute.

We put the onion in a sterilized jar, close the boiled lid and send it to cool in a warm place in an inverted form. You can wrap the blank with a blanket.

The pickled onion is ready and now in winter you can enjoy it by adding it to various dishes or using it as a snack.
