  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make rice with soy sauce in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. This dish can be cooked either on the stove in a saucepan or in a frying pan, or in a microwave. Use filtered water, not from the tap, the taste of the dish will depend on it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Rice is suitable for both round and long-grain. Rinse it well in several waters, one of which may be hot - rice flour is washed out with it more thoroughly. Drain the excess liquid from the rice through a colander.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Crush the garlic clove with the back of a knife, peel off the husk.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour refined vegetable oil (I have olive oil) into the pan and heat it up. Send the garlic to a preheated frying pan and fry it, stirring for about 1-2 minutes over medium heat.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put the washed rice in the pan with the garlic. If you want, you can remove the garlic from the pan, I left it. Fill the rice with a glass of hot water in a ratio of 1:1. Cook on low heat until the water evaporates. If you cook in the microwave, put the rice in a suitable container for the microwave, cook, turning on the maximum power for 10 minutes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Now add soy sauce to the rice, stir. Pour in another half cup of hot water, continue stewing under the lid on low heat. Or put the rice container back in the microwave, turning it on already at 80% power and setting the timer for 8 minutes.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Cook the rice until cooked on low heat under the lid for about 10 minutes.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Wash and finely chop the green onions.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Put the rice on a plate, sprinkle with chopped green onions and, if desired, hot pepper on top. Serve a dish with herbs as a side dish to meat, chicken, fish, mushrooms. Bon appetit!

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Put the rice on a plate, sprinkle with chopped green onions and, if desired, hot pepper on top. Serve a dish with herbs as a side dish to meat, chicken, fish, mushrooms. Bon appetit!

I served rice in soy sauce as a side dish to red fish. The dish goes well with pickled ginger.

When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a rather salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk over-salting.

Keep in mind that microwaves don't work the same way. The cooking time and recommended power may differ from those stated in the recipe. Read the instructions for your device and take into account the features of your equipment.
