To prepare Viennese waffles, first of all you need to mix all the ingredients for the dough. To do this, break the chicken eggs into a bowl or bowl of a stationary mixer. Then add sugar and pour in milk. Beat the milk-egg mixture until smooth using a mixer on medium power.

Sift flour separately in a container, add salt and baking powder to it for pomp. Mix everything thoroughly with each other.

Then pour the dry ingredients into the mass of milk and eggs. And using a mixer, stir everything to a homogeneous consistency, breaking all the flour lumps.

Melt butter in the microwave or on the stove over low heat. Then pour the melted butter into a bowl and mix the dough until smooth.

The amount of sugar and salt in the preparation of waffles should be calculated individually, depending on the purpose of the appointment and individual taste preferences. For example, Viennese waffles can be served with sweet sauce, chocolate, jam or cottage cheese filling. Or you can make waffles stuffed with cheese, pate, various types of meat and vegetables.

After the dough is ready, you can proceed directly to frying Viennese waffles. To do this, you need to prepare a grill (electric grill, waffle iron grill or open grill). As a rule, the panels of the device have a non-stick coating and do not require additional fat. But if this is not the case, then you should lubricate the surface with a piece of butter.

The dough should be poured on the work surface in small portions so that the waffles do not turn out too thick and have time to bake inside. Fry the waffles to an appetizing golden color, focusing on the power of a particular device. In the case of an open grill, it is necessary to turn the waffles to the other side.

Transfer fried Viennese waffles to a plate and serve with poached egg and bacon, or fresh berries and caramel syrup.

Bon appetit!
