    For cooking, we will need horseradish root, boiled beetroot, water, salt, sugar and vinegar (I forgot about vinegar).

    To start, prepare the marinade. In a saucepan, mix water, sugar, salt and vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil, turn it off and let it cool to room temperature.

    Soak the horseradish root in cold water for 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the root is thoroughly cleaned and crushed using a combine or meat grinder.

    Also grind boiled beets.

    Mix chopped horseradish and beetroot. Pour the mixture with the cooled marinade.

    Optionally, grind the mixture until smooth. Ready-made horseradish is allowed to infuse in the refrigerator for several hours, and preferably overnight.

    If you want to save horseradish for the winter, we lay out the finished product in prepared, sterilized jars. You need to store horseradish with beets in the refrigerator. The advice is to make small jars.

Horseradish turns out to be moderately sharp, if you like it sharper, then just squeeze the juice from the beetroot for color, and do not add the pulp itself.
