This miracle drink was invented in Cuba, in the city of Daiquiri at the very beginning of the twentieth century, just at the time when Hemengway wrote "The Old Man and the Sea" it was first tasted by bar patrons. According to legend, one businessman ran out of gin, and he was forced to serve another drink instead – rum, which at that time could not always be of high quality. The businessman mixed it with ingredients so that the guests would be satisfied with his drink. Years passed and over time, this cocktail had a huge number of variations. The culinary recipe of one of them is described below.
All the above ingredients must be mixed and whipped well with a blender. Next, take a cocktail glass and pour a cocktail into it. The "food" is ready for public consumption.
Daiquiri cocktail is served on the table chilled, decorated with a small slice of lime or lemon. Drink the drink in a good circle, stretching the range of new sensations. Bon appetit!
