Grated cake with cottage cheese

The original recipe for a cake with cottage cheese filling! I tried this culinary recipe for the first time at my mother-in-law's house when I came to meet her. The grated cake turned out to be so delicious that the conversation at the table somehow immediately went well, the stiffness and all that went away. In general, I recommend (I'm talking about cake).

Beat the egg yolks in a mixer, pour granulated sugar into them slowly and continue to beat until the whole mass turns white. Add softened cream margarine. Pour flour in small portions, then pour soda quenched in citric acid or vinegar. Knead the elastic dough. We divide it into three parts, two of which are immediately connected. The smaller part is left in the refrigerator for thirty minutes so that it hardens nicely. Two thirds of the dough is rolled out into a layer one centimeter thick and placed in an oiled mold. We put the pre-prepared filling on the layer. Cut off the extra pieces of dough. We take out the second piece of dough from the refrigerator and rub it on a coarse grater (in extreme cases, you can tear it with your hands). We scatter the pieces over the entire surface of the cake so that there are no gaps left. We put it in the oven to bake until ready. The finished food is decorated with powdered sugar.
Filling: rub the yolks with cottage cheese, mix powdered sugar, semolina, starch and butter. Separately, whisk the proteins into a very thick foam and add them at the very end. Gently mix.
