We collect clusters of mountain ash, inspect them, sort them, remove impurities in the form of leaves and sticks. We wash the red mountain ash. Spread a clean towel on the table and pour the berries on it. Let's wait until the rowan berries dry out.
For the next stage we will need an oven.
Heat the oven, put the rowan on a dry baking sheet in one layer and send it to bake a little. The temperature should be low, and the berries should just become soft.
For the maturation of the liqueur, we will prepare a container. It can be an ordinary three-liter jar or a special large bottle.
Fill the container with 2/3 softened rowan, the rest of the space will be occupied by vodka, filled to the top.
The infusion is infused in a dark place, before acquiring the color of dark amber. It should take about 3 months. The finished liqueur is drained and sugar is added at its discretion. Rowan liqueur will decorate any holiday.
