Tired of meat kebabs? Bake a fish in nature! Fish on a fire in foil is a delicious and flavorful dish. Thanks to the use of foil, the fish turns out juicy, tender, as if it melts in your mouth! And the bonfire adds a cozy "smokiness" to the dish. A great option for those who are tired of meat kebabs and want variety during outdoor recreation. In addition, fish in foil can be cooked while fishing, without going far from the lake or river.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 50 min

Of course, to cook fish on a fire, you need a bonfire. Therefore, first of all, we breed it to such an extent that it is mainly hot coals and a weak flame. We place a grill on top of the flame, on which we will bake the fish.

Any fish can be baked - both river and sea. Regardless of the chosen type, we will cook it the same way.

We clean the perch from the scales, cut off the head, clean the insides, rinse the fish, lightly dry with a paper towel. We put the fish in a large bowl, sprinkle with salt, rub it from all sides - both inside and outside. We tear off a large sheet of foil (and if there are not one fish, but two small ones, then we will need two sheets - each fish in its own sheet). We spread the perch on a sheet of foil.

Peel the onion and cut it into circles. After we put the onion on the fish. We also put washed and dried dill twigs on it. Pour lemon juice over the perch, both inside and outside. Sprinkle the fish with olive oil. Now the perch can be wrapped in foil.

We put the bundles on the grill and cook for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the fish. We cook the little ones less in time, the big ones - longer. You can check the readiness in this way: unfold the fish from the edge, stick a fork into the flesh next to the spine, trying to move the meat away from the bones. If it easily departs, then the fish is ready.

We serve the fish on the table hot! The ideal side dish for fish baked on a fire will be baked vegetables. or they can be boiled. Fresh vegetables and herbs will also be a great addition. Don't forget about your favorite sauces and drinks!

Bon appetit!
