Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 21 d
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary products. The beauty of this tincture is that it can be prepared at any time of the year, so not only fresh, but also frozen lingonberries are perfect. Take high-quality moonshine, it is best if it is your homemade moonshine. In principle, you can use ordinary vodka, but in this case the taste will be a little different. You can take white sugar, or you can take brown sugar - it will give the tincture a light caramel taste.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash and dry the berries well, then mash a little. If you use frozen berries, then you must first properly defrost them. That's right - this means that first the berries should be transferred to the refrigerator where the temperature is + 5 degrees, and only after a couple of hours you can continue defrosting at room temperature.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Transfer the crushed berries to the container in which you will insist the drink. I recommend using an ordinary glass jar for this, because we will still filter the tincture and pour it into a beautiful bottle later.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Carefully pour sugar on the berries - it is necessary that the layers do not mix. Adjust the amount of sugar to your liking. If you prepare the tincture mainly for use by men, then you can limit yourself to 1 spoonful of sugar. If for women, then its number can be increased. And also at this stage, other spices can be added to the tincture for flavor: vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and others. This option with spices, of course, a woman will like it more

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Carefully pour in the moonshine.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cover the jar with a lid and put it in a dark, cool place so that the drink is infused for 21 days.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

After the specified time, strain the tincture using a fine sieve and pour into a bottle or bottle.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Take little by little, no more than 50 ml during lunch or dinner. Bon appetit!

When drinking, do not forget that alcohol in excess is harmful to the body! Observe the measure in the use of lingonberry tincture on moonshine!
