Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list for the classic milk tea, which, by the way, is a traditional drink in Britain. Such a drink does not contain anything superfluous: only tea leaves, water and milk. In general, there are many different interesting recipes for "tea with milk", with various additives, and with the peculiarities of its preparation. In many countries, such tea is drunk, for example, in England, Thailand, India, it has been a traditional drink for several centuries.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

For making tea, it is better to use a large-leaf tea leaves (in my opinion, the taste of a drink made from such a tea is much richer and more fragrant than from a tea bag), but if you do not have the time and desire for such a tea brew, you can use an ordinary tea bag with black tea.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour the tea leaves into a teapot (it is better to use a glass or ceramic teapot for brewing tea, in such a dish tea reveals its taste better), a teapot with a French press is convenient. You can use a mug with a strainer for brewing tea if the drink is prepared for one person. Pour the tea leaves with boiled hot water, the temperature of which is about 90-95 degrees, but not in any case with boiling water. Leave for 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour milk into tea cups. Milk for the preparation of a drink can be used of any fat content to taste and desire. Naturally, the higher the fat content of milk, the more caloric the drink will turn out. Milk should be poured into cups earlier than brewed tea. Milk should be added a little so that it does not drown out the taste of tea with its taste.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour the brewed tea on top of the milk into the cups. If desired and to taste, you can add sugar, ground cinnamon or other additives, mix. The drink is ready. Have a nice tea party!

Scientists all over the world are still arguing about the benefits and harms of such a drink, and it is difficult to find an unambiguous answer to this question. On the one hand, it is a healthy drink that, thanks to milk, loses part of the concentration of caffeine contained in tea, so it does not have a harsh effect on the gastric mucosa, which is suitable for the menu of people with diseases such as gastritis. In addition, milk contains calcium, which is necessary for humans, and it enters the body with this drink. Tea with milk calms the nervous system, reduces stress. Also, this drink turns out to be nutritious and satisfying, which is an excellent option for breakfast. But on the other hand, it is not suitable for the menu of people on strict diets. In addition, milk contains animal fats, which bind together the kakhetins contained in tea, which in turn normalize blood pressure and improve vascular elasticity. That is, in this drink, these beneficial properties of tea disappear.
