This delicious and hearty multi-layered salad will surprise and delight. After all, you will understand what two in one means. Since we are preparing a multi-component salad, which can safely act as an independent second. Satisfying, delicious, original. And also – it is universal, because instead of the ingredients specified in the recipe, you, in addition to the basic ones, are free to put any others. We serve both on weekdays and on holidays.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 25 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

If you do not have ready-made chilled potatoes and eggs, put them to boil and add another half an hour to the time I indicated. I started the work with slicing, frying in oil heated in a frying pan clean mushrooms, chopped slices, and onions. Cool it down.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

While the mushrooms and onions are cooling, I grated the potatoes on a coarse grater, which had been cooked and cooled since yesterday evening.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Cut the smoked chicken fillet into small slices so that they fit into the overall format.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pickles (I had small ones) should also be sent to the grater. We will only try to remove the excess juice, it will interfere with us in the salad.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Cheese is better to take hard varieties. Grate on a coarse grater. I got such a beautiful chip.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

The egg, having been peeled from the shell, needs to be grated, but I chose a medium grater for it.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

You can start laying out layers, covering each with sour cream, then mayonnaise. I started the mushrooms first, because we have mushrooms under a fur coat, not on a fur coat.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Then I made such a grid of sour cream.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Next I laid out a pickle.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Potatoes for him, it's a good old company.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Smearing the potatoes with mayonnaise, I put a layer of chicken on it.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Smeared the chicken with sour cream.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Then sprinkle this layer with cheese.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

Putting a grid of mayonnaise on the cheese, I sent up a grated egg.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

That's it, a beautiful very juicy salad is ready. Just let it stand for a little while - it will get soaked, and it will be even more tender.

And more tips

In my recipe there are champignons, but they can be replaced with mushrooms according to the season, then each time the salad will take on a new shade.

If you fold the layers, preparing a serving plate for this and decorating it already for serving, be careful – grated eggs and cheese tend not to always get only there, where we need to go.

It would be good to put the salad in a special form, and if it is not there, cut the middle from the plastic bottle of the depth and width you need.

Do not forget to lubricate the walls of the ring with vegetable oil, then it will be easy and safe for the salad to be removed.

If there is still no shape, fold the layers in a suitable bowl.
Layers can be smeared with sour cream, mayonnaise, and their mixture, and alternately, like mine.

To make a grid of mayonnaise or sour cream, you can cut off the corner of a plastic bag, and then cut off the tip – it turns out great!
