How to make an Austrian salad?

1. Wash the carrots, boil until fully cooked, then cool, peel, grate on a coarse grater.

2. In parallel, boil hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel off the shell. Separate the yolks from the whites, grate the yolks on a fine grater, the whites on a large one.

2. Mash sardines with a fork into a mush.

3. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil.

4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

5. Lay out the salad in layers, smear each with mayonnaise: sardine, onion, protein, carrot, cheese, yolks.

6. Decorate the salad to your taste and send it to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours for impregnation.

Help yourself!

It's better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.

Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which is better not to use at all, read here .
