Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a salad with broccoli and chicken? Very simple. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Tomatoes can use any, ordinary plum-shaped or cherry. The vegetable part can be supplemented or replaced according to your taste.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash and dry the chicken fillet. Season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can sprinkle the fillet with other spices to taste.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat and fry the fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. The exact roasting time depends on the size of your fillet and the degree of heating.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Cool the finished fillet and cut into thin slices. Instead of frying, you can boil the fillet or bake it in the oven in foil. Instead of fresh chicken, you can use smoked.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Boil broccoli in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until tender. The exact time depends on the size of the inflorescences and the degree of heating. Broccoli can be used fresh or frozen. If you use frozen cabbage, you do not need to defrost it beforehand.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Flip the cabbage into a colander and let the water drain. If the inflorescences are large, disassemble them into smaller ones.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Wash tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly. Instead of leaf lettuce, you can use a ready-made salad mixture.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

In a bowl, combine the chicken, tomatoes, broccoli and garlic passed through a press. Season everything with salt and pepper and mix gently, trying not to overwhelm the tomatoes.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Line a plate or dish with fresh lettuce leaves. Put the fried chicken, tomatoes and broccoli with garlic on top.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Pour mayonnaise on top of the salad. I did it with a pastry bag to make a beautiful thin cobweb of mayonnaise. You can fill the ingredients with mayonnaise in the salad bowl and mix (step 9). And then put the whole mass on salad leaves. Serve the salad immediately to the table. Enjoy your meal!

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).

It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
