Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 d 6 h

Before making jam, apricots need to be washed, cut them into halves, removing the bones, and then cut into cubes. We put them in a large saucepan. Fill the chopped apricots with sugar and leave to infuse overnight.

In the morning, we wash and peel an orange, remove the bones from it and grind it with a blender. Add to the apricots, which have released a lot of juice overnight.

Put the pan on the stove and bring it to a boil, then turn down the heat and cook the apricots for 5 minutes. Don't forget to stir! We leave it for 5-6 hours. And so we do it again - bring to a boil, cook, leave to infuse.

For the third time after 5 minutes of cooking, we put the apricots in sterilized jars. We close it with sterile lids, turn it over, wrap it in a blanket until it cools down completely.

The jam is ready! Have a nice tea party on winter evenings!
