Simple apple jam for winter with a blender

Universal sweet preparation for winter! Many people remember the taste of simple apple jam since childhood. It can be spread on a piece of a loaf for tea or used as a filling in baking. I turned the prepared apples into mashed potatoes with a blender - quickly and simply!

    How to cook apple jam? Prepare everything you need. It is better to take sour or sweet-sour apples to taste. Rinse the apples well in running water to wash off the dirt.

    Peel the apples and remove the core from them. Cut the peeled apples into pieces. The size of the pieces is not important, since, in the future, the apples will boil. Put the sliced apples in a suitable cooking pot.I have an enameled saucepan. This is the most convenient option. It is not necessary to take aluminum dishes so that there is no negative reaction with apple juice.

    Fill the apples with sugar and pour some water. You don't need to add all the sugar at once. Depending on the taste of apples, you may need more or less sugar.

    Put the pan on the fire and bring everything to a boil, stirring occasionally.

    Simmer the apples for 10-15 minutes. During this time, they will become very soft.

    Using a blender, turn the apples into a homogeneous applesauce. If there is no blender, then you can rub soft apples through a sieve. Then return the applesauce to the fire. At this stage, you can taste the jam and, if necessary, add a little more sugar. Cook the jam over low heat, stirring constantly for another 10 minutes. The longer you cook it, the darker and thicker it will become.

    Prepare the jam dishes. Wash and sterilize small jars in a convenient way for you. This can be done in the microwave, in the oven or over hot steam. Put the jam in jars and close the lids, which must first be doused with boiling water.

    Turn the jars over and check for tightness. In order for the jam to cool down slowly and reach, wrap the jars in a warm blanket and cool it in this form. Put the cooled jam in a cool place for storage.
