Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

1. First of all, you need to turn on the oven at 180 degrees. To make the fish juicy inside and with an appetizing crust on the outside, it should be put in a preheated oven.

2. Peel and rinse potatoes under running water. Place the potatoes in a saucepan with water and boil for 15-20 minutes (depending on the selected potato variety) until half-cooked. Then cut into pieces.

3. Clean the mullet, gut the insides and remove the gills from it. Rinse the fish thoroughly under running water and dry with a paper towel. Next, cut the mullet into medium pieces and put it in a suitable baking dish. Pre-lubricate the mold with olive oil.

4. Further, in order to give the mullet a piquant taste and a pleasant aroma, it is necessary to stuff the fish with spices. To do this, mix salt and dry spices for fish in a separate container (you can buy ready-made in the store). Rub the mullet pieces thoroughly with this mixture, including inside the fish. Cut one lemon in half and slice it into slices. Place lemon slices around and inside the fish. Rinse, dry and finely chop the parsley. Part of the greens is also stuffed with pieces of fish, and part is left to decorate a ready-made dish. Boiled potatoes, cut into pieces, put around the mullet. Squeeze out the juice from the second lemon and pour it abundantly over the fish and vegetables.

5. Put the fish and potatoes to bake in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, depending on the size of the fish. If the fish meat inside is white and easily separates from the bone, the mullet is ready and the dish can be removed from the oven.

Decorate baked mullet with potatoes with chopped parsley and can be served to the table! Insanely simple and delicious dish is ready!

Bon appetit!
