Watermelon peel jam with lemon

Do you like watermelon? Prepare it for the winter in the form of jam! Very convenient waste-free production. The children are happy to eat the juicy pulp, and fortunately, watermelon crusts remain for me, which were ruthlessly thrown away until I found such a simple recipe from Galina Poskrebysheva already in 2000. However, she offered to make candied fruits, and I left them in the form of jam. Since then, every year I wait for thick-walled watermelons (Krasnodar, mostly) and cook this yummy.
