Cherry compote for winter with vanilla

A bright summer drink with a rich taste, delicious aroma! Cooking compotes is very simple and, for sure, every housewife has her own recipe. I joined composting only last year, but now I want to close drinks from various berries and fruits annually. After all, it is very pleasant to open a jar of homemade compote on a cold winter evening - beautiful, bright, delicious, sweet! The mood immediately rises and summer is remembered.

You can take as many berries as you want, the main thing is to observe the proportions.

1. Sort and wash the berries. Choose only ripe and good berries.
2. Arrange the cherries in jars that need to be sterilized in advance.
3. Pour boiling water over the berries. Pour water to the edges of the jar.
4. Let the berries stand in boiling water for 15 to 30 minutes (do not forget to cover the jars with lids). The water should change color.
5. Time has passed - pour the water from the cans into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
6. Pour sugar, add vanilla.
7. Pour boiling syrup over the cherries, seal the jars tightly with lids.
8. Wrap the jars with a blanket and keep them upside down until completely cooled.
9. Remove the finished compote to the storage place.

Vivid impressions in winter! :)
