Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min

1. To make a pie, you need to prepare the filling from the Mexican mixture. To do this, heat the oil in a frying pan and put the vegetables there. Add tomato paste, salt and spices and simmer until cooked and the liquid has completely evaporated. Let the filling cool down a little. Roll out the puff pastry. From a part of the dough, make the bottom layer of the pie, put it in the mold, holding the sides. Lay out the filling. From the remains of the dough, cut strips of equal width and decorate the pie with a grid of dough. If the dough is left, do not worry. Bake improvised puff pastry, which you will serve with soup as crackers. Put the pie in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
2. To prepare the soup, put the vegetables in a saucepan, add spices to taste. When the vegetables are warmed up, gradually add broth to them, about 1 ladle in 2 minutes - this is how the vegetables will reveal their taste to the fullest and retain their beautiful natural color. Cook for about 10-15 minutes. Puree the finished soup and bring it to taste.
3. Serve soup with pie.
Really, a quick and delicious dinner?
Have fun!
